Four New Official TinySeed Mentors (Hiring, Engineering, Legal, and B2B Sales)

Engineering, B2B Sales, Hiring, and Legal Advice Experts Added to Our Mentor Roster

One of the aspects of TinySeed that we’re most proud of is our subject-matter expert and experienced entrepreneur mentor roster. We believe strongly in having a range of folks with different expertises and specialties, as access to these experienced voices can make a 10-100x difference in a founder’s speed of execution.

We’ve recently added four amazing folks to our roster:

John Ndege

B2B SaaS Sales Expert

John has been working in Tech for 14 years. He is from London, UK (previously New York) and now in Copenhagen, Denmark. He began his career with a failed user generated content site at age 21, before becoming an early employee at Facebook. Post Facebook, he left to create his own bootstrapped B2B SaaS (acquired in 2018), then a marketing agency (acquired in 2019.) Throughout his career John has worked in sales, customer development and product development, and today he works in sales at AWS.

Noel Andrews

Hiring Expert and CEO of JobRack

Noel is the CEO of JobRack, which connects companies with jobseekers in Eastern Europe. He has helped businesses hire more than 1,000 remote team members. He specializes in advice around hiring and retaining remote employees, running an effect interview process, onboarding, management, and team culture.

Jacob Kaplan-Moss

Security Consultant; Engineering Manager; Co-Creator of Django

Jacob is a software developer, co-creator of Django, and engineering leader. Currently a security architect at Latacora and co-own REVSYS, and formerly the VP Engingeering at Hangar, Director of Engineering at 18F, and Director of Security Heroku. Jacob writes about engineering leadership on his blog, jacobian.org, and he joins TinySeed to advise on hiring, engineering or security management, technical strategy, security architecture, and similar topics.

Katie Kiernan Marble

Managing Director, Global Employment Law, and Head of People, modCounsel

Katie is the Managing Director of Global Employment Law for modCounsel, a concierge legal service specializing in providing in-house services and support for growing companies in the areas of commercial, corporate, privacy, and employment law.

Katie’s experience includes managing employee complaints and investigations, global and location-specific policies and employment documents, mitigating litigation risks and litigation management, alternative dispute resolution, contingent workforce management, employment-related issues in M&A, wage & hour requirements, performance management, and all facets of employment compliance. That said, just like a developer can give you some general technical direction when assessing code, Katie can help you understand the general legal landscape and point you in the right direction when it comes to solving non-employment legal issues as well.

We’re incredibly lucky to have these folks on board and volunteering their time with us and our founders!

If you’re interested in getting access to the fine folks above, and everything else TinySeed entails — which includes a robust year-long specialized SaaS accelerator program, over a hundred fellow founders for networking and knowledge sharing, and more.
