Our mission is to multiply the world's population of independent, self-sustaining startups.

TinySeed began when Rob Walling and Einar Vollset observed how capital efficient startups in the MicroConf community had only two choices: bootstrap or raise venture capital. We believed there should be another way.

It was obvious from the moment we announced in 2018 that there was tremendous demand for an alternative approach to startup funding.

Since then we’ve backed more than 80 fast-growing SaaS companies across four continents.

Here’s how we’re different than every other accelerator:

  • Our program is remote and runs for a full year

  • Founders are able to build a profitable company for the long-term

  • Founders can choose to raise additional funding (or not) based on their goals

  • We invest in various corporate structures (not just C-Corps)

  • We focus on capital efficient, non-unicorn SaaS companies

To most venture capitalists $10M in annual revenue is an abject failure. To us, it’s a great business.
